What kind of photography do you do?

I specialize in portrait sessions, and I especially enjoy taking photos of families and couples. Currently I do engagements, maternity sessions, newborn portraits, family portraits, corporate/model headshots, senior pictures and event photography. I’ve also been known to do food styling/photography, product photography, and pet portraits at the request of my clients!

What is your style of photography?

My style is modern and flexible; I enjoy capturing those special, unscripted moments as they happen. I strive to capture the emotions of a scene, opting for mostly candid shots rather than artificial poses. For couples sessions, I typically try to use natural lighting in a dreamy and romantic way. I’m very open to the suggestions of my clients – if you have any specific requests in mind, please don’t hesitate to tell me!

Do you also take formal portraits?

Absolutely, I am more than happy to oblige a request for classic, formal style portraits. I’m open to any and all suggestions.

What types of payment do you take?

I accept cash, credit card (VISA / Mastercard / Discover / Amex), Venmo, Paypal, and Popmoney.

Do you bring back-up equipment?

Yes, absolutely – it is as essential as having any equipment at all. I always bring back-ups of everything.

What photography equipment do you use?

My primary camera is a hardy and reliable Canon 5D Mark II with a standard EF 24-100mm f/4 lens. I love using prime lenses for all my portrait needs, such as the Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens and the Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM lens.

For post-processing and editing (by far the most time-consuming portion of a photo shoot), I use Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.

When will my photos be available for viewing?

Processed photos are available for online viewing within 1-2 weeks. I also try to post some preview images on the blog within a day or two.
