One of my favourite assignments as a freelance photographer came from ZocDoc, an online doctor scheduling service headquartered in New York. My job of photographing doctors and their staff proved to be both fast-paced and interesting; there were days when I’d drive to five different clinics for a packed day of photoshoots! Despite being extremely busy, the doctors and staff members I photographed were nothing short of gracious every time. All in all, I was really happy to capture the good side of such a noble profession.

A few of the doctors I met were interior design aficionados (like yours truly) and had done a fabulous job of decorating their waiting rooms. Scroll down for interior shots of some of the prettiest clinics I’ve seen!

Here are some photos from a weekend getaway to The Lodge at Suncadia, a gorgeous mountain resort out in Cle Elum, Washington. This trip reminded me that I need to get out and explore the PNW more often; the hiking trails and mountain views were absolutely beautiful. I definitely recommend visiting Suncadia if you need an outdoorsy retreat away from the city – which for me is always a great way recharge and clear my mind!

Here’s a recent portrait session featuring Joshua, an aspiring young actor from Northville. We did a casual shoot in Downtown Northville on one of the most beautiful days of the year. Joshua was wonderful to work with; he clearly has a ton of passion for what he does!

In other news, Wendi C. Photography is moving all the way from Michigan to Seattle, Washington! It was a bit of a last minute development, but long story short, I got a full-time job as a 2D Game Artist in downtown Seattle! Stay tuned for life updates from the Emerald City once I’m all settled in!

I absolutely LOVE photographing portraits – especially when I get a client as gorgeous and gracious as Ania! Here are a few previews from a casual portrait session taken in Downtown Ann Arbor, right by two of my favorite works of architecture. This was one of my favorite sessions ever (could not have asked for a better model!) and I cannot wait to share more.
